People Trainer

About the role

As a People Trainer based in our Belfast office, you will report to the People Development Manager, collaborating closely with wider teams to drive impactful training initiatives as part of the Learning and Development strategy throughout Ireland. You will be a passionate People Trainer, playing an important role in ensuring our people have the skills they need to succeed.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with People Development and Operations Managers to plan and deliver impactful training on company’s policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with People Development Team and Operations Managers to ensure teams are fully trained and competent in all relevant training (SOP’s, compliance training etc)
  • Support the full training cycle
  • Assist with updating employee training aids/manuals, SOPs to ensure H&S and Quality compliance
  • Complete regular competency checks
  • Support the People Development team with the Learning Management System
  • Lead and facilitate employee inductions, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Work with the People Development Manager to support the wider business business’s development needs
  • Offer ongoing support to new employees, including regular check ins, 1:1 training and mentoring
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, contributing to the success of the team and aligning with our company values.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role
  • Experience of delivering full training cycle
  • Experience in a production environment
  • IOSH qualified (or working towards)
  • Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Packages
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to show initiative, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Initiate and drive change and improvement to deliver results
  • Has an agile approach to the role requirements and open to new challenges
  • Prepared to travel when necessary
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
  • Right to work in the UK
