Traditional Norfolk Poultry and Iltney farm were shortlisted for the Devenish sponsored Grower of the Year award. But there could only be one winner; congratulations to Traditional Norfolk Poultry on winning the grower of the year award.
The National Egg & Poultry Awards were launched this year as an annual event by Poultry Business magazine and Lewis Business Media to recognise excellence and innovation in the egg and poultry sectors. Business leaders from all the major egg and poultry firms and representatives from industry bodies gathered to celebrate the achievements from across the spectrum of the sector - with awards recognising individuals excelling in their roles, to businesses investing and growing.
BBC sports presenter Hazel Irvine hosted the ceremony, armed with plenty of poultry-based puns as well as stories from her 30-year career as a broadcaster.
Poultry Business publisher Simon Lewis said: "These awards have highlighted the breadth and depth of talent, drive and ambition in the egg and poultry sectors and is a pleasure to recognise the winners, but also all of those shortlisted which in itself is a great achievement."
