What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing a strategy for growth and regional sales plans
  • Implementation of the Company’s strategic plans
  • Market research and identification of profitable business opportunities to extend the business and brand of Devenish
  • Development and management of the annual sales budget for this region
  • Negotiation of profitable commercial arrangements with customers
  • Key account management to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinating and working collaboratively with internal teams to support plans and grow the regional business
  • Development of strong business relationships with colleagues and existing and potential customers

What we are looking for:

  • Leading market focus and strategic thinking (determine where to play and how to win)
  • Bachelor degree in Animal Science, or related degree and proven track record of profitable sales success with at least 2 years’ experience
    OR, minimum 5 years’ equivalent experience in a similar role
  • A strong background in Swine nutrition, product and proposition business development
  • Excellent commercial and sales skills
  • Experience in the animal feed industry
  • Leading market focus and strategic thinking (determine where to play and how to win)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels in both Spanish and English.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong Team Player with the ability and initiative to also work independently.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong and successful experience of marketing/category development
  • Strong understanding of production, supply chain and logistics processes
  • Strong understanding of financial measures and excellent financial acumen
  • Experience of good people management and building successful teams
  • Willingness to travel
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
  • Right to work in the jurisdiction
