Devenish launched their new ‘Milk Solids Booster’ product at the RUAS Winter Fair.
Milk Solids Booster is a combination of judiciously selected micro ingredients based on the latest science and key technologies from international markets. Commercial farm results to date are showing improved milk yield and milk solids, and most importantly, are delivering improved dairy farm incomes, in what has been a difficult year for Northern Ireland’s dairy farmers.
Ryan McPolin and James Scott are members of Devenish’s Ruminant Team who are based in Northern Ireland. Ryan says “We are very excited to see the tangible benefits which ‘Milk Solids Booster’ is delivering for our compound feed customers, and in turn for dairy farmers through boosting their milk constituents.”
Dr. Morgan Sheehy, Ruminant Technical Director has led the development and successful rollout of this product. Morgan advises that “at farm level, this game-changing technology is helping to increase milk yields and to significantly improve milk solids and leaves more money in dairy farmers’ pockets. Further benefits shown are improved cow health and fertility through feeding a more sustainable and targeted diet to cows.”
